N.Nazarbayev notes importance of new Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railway line

GORGAN. KAZINFORM - At the opening ceremony of the Turkmen-Iranian railway section of "Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran" railway line President Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the importance of the project.
"I am pleased to see the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani. The construction of the railway is completed," said the President. The Uzen-Bereket-Gorgan railway line is a part of the new North-South railway corridor. This project is being carried out within the framework of the declaration signed by the leaders of three countries. The new trade route is expected to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran.
