N.Nazarbayev inks new Criminal Procedure Code

The document is aimed at modernizing the criminal justice system and bringing it into line with international standards. In addition, the President inked the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On amendments to some constitutional laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on improvement of the criminal procedural law" aimed at bringing the number of constitutional laws into compliance with the new Code of Criminal Procedure. Kazakh President signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on improvement of the criminal procedural law" aimed at bringing the number of legislative acts in compliance with the new Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Texts of the laws are published in the press.
