N. Nazarbayev holds working session on financial issues
ANA. August 3. KAZINFORM. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has held a working session on the issues of the country's financial sector in Almaty today; Kazinform refers to the Presidential press service.
Head of the Presidential Administration Aslan Mussin, Assistant to the President Kuandyk Bishimbayev, Chairman of the National Bank Grigory Marchenko, Chairman of the Board of "Samruk-Kazyna" National Welfare Fund Kairat Kelimbetov and others took part in the sitting.
The Head of the State listened to the reports on macroeconomic situation in the state, promotion of foreign investment flow, control over external loans, activity of pension funds, development of Kazakhstan's stock market.
The reports on balance of payments, operations with capital and finance, lending market situation, control over inflation were also made.
According to G. Marchenko, the results of the Tenge devaluation were discussed. "Time showed that the course was chosen correctly. The state has enough reserves to implement it", he said.
