N. Nazarbayev hands over symbolic keys of new homes
ANA. August 28. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ President Nursultan Nazarbayev has handed over the symbolic keys of "European", "Okzhetpes", "Baikonur" and "Al Farabi" residential complexes, built by Zhana Rurylys LLS to the chairs of the cooperative housing societies of the complexes.
"Perhaps we are the only country in the world where government helps home investors return their money back through law-enforcement bodies. We had to sequester development funds and cut back expenses in order to finish construction of 450 apartment houses in Kazakhstan that lagged because of irresponsible builders", the President said.
"Despite the hardship and lack of funds, the government is doing its best to give you homes", the Head of the State said addressing citizens.
The President handed over apartments keys to home investors of "European" residential estate.
