N.Nazarbayev awarded with highest order of Russian Orthodox Church - Patriarch Kirill

ASTANA. January 17. KAZINFORM /Rassul Bakhamov/ President Nursultan Nazarbayev has been awarded with one of the highest orders of the Russian Orthodox Church. Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill has announced it after completion of the procedures of consecration of the Uspensky cathedral and Divine Liturgy in it.
He said, that the meeting with the Head of the State is planned to be held on Monday, January 18. "I will have opportunity to hand over one of the highest orders of the Russian Orthodox Church to Nursultan Nazarbayev as an expression of thanks for construction of the Uspensky cathedral in Astana and for good attitude to all religious people in Kazakhstan, especially to Orthodox Christians".
