N. Nazarbayev appointed K. Massimov head of national commission on modernization

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the importance of continuing the work on implementation of the tasks set before the government, the press service of the Akorda informed. In this regard, the Head of State told about singing of the Decree on establishment of the national commission on modernization in order to implement five institutional reforms.

Prime Minister K. Massimov will head the commission, and head of the Executive Office of the President N. Nigmatulin will have a passion of the deputy head of the commission.

Presidential aide Y. Orynbayev will head a working group on forming the professional state machine, deputy head of the Executive Office of the President T. Donakov is appointed head of the working group on ensuring supremacy of the statute law. Minister of Economy Y. Dossayev will supervise the issues of the economy. B. Mailybayev will head a working group on ensuring identity and unity. Deputy Majilis Speaker D. Nazarbayeva will ensure the control of the process.

Besides, president of "Nazarbayev University" JSC S. Katsu was named a member of the commission as a foreign adviser.

Besides, the Head of State noted that the composition of the Government would remain the same.

"Everybody worked hard and I do not think any changes are required. Therefore everybody will just continue to do their job," the President said.
