N. Nazarbayev and R. Erdogan held meeting with clergy and residents of Turkestan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkey visited a new mosque in Turkestan.
Nursultan Nazarbayev and Recep Erdogan checked the mosque capable to receive 2 thousand people at a time, the mosque was built at the expenses of the Turkish side. They also talked to the clergy and residents of Turkestan city.
The presidents of the two countries signed the agreement on construction of a mosque in 2000 within the framework of the celebration of the 1500th anniversary of Turkestan.
