N Kazakhstan: Sergeevskoye reservoir water level raised
PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - At the moment there is an overflow of water over the crest of the reservoir Sergeevskoye by 163 centimeters, while its design capacity is 693 million cubic meters, this has been reported by the press service of the North Kazakhstan region Emergency Department.
Changes have been observed in water level in the floodplain of the river Ishim. According to the gauging stations, near the village of Pokrovka, within 24 hours the water level has raised by 56 centimeters. In the village called Novonikolskoye the level decrease by 12 centimeters. The Ishim River water level near Petropavlovsk city went up by 170 centimeters. No information reported about flooding of settlements. Since the beginning of the flood period MES registered 108 cases of flooding of residential houses.
