Mussabayev surveyed backup ground control complex of spacecrafts under construction

ALMATY. January 27. KAZINFORM /Sara Kabikyzy/ Chairman of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan Talgat Mussabayev surveyed the construction site of the backup ground control complex of spacecrafts near Almaty.
Almaty complex construction was started last April 11. Specialists have already proceeded to installing hi-tech equipment so far.
This project is being implemented under the Kazkosmos strategic plan for 2011-2015 and was included into the State Forced Industrial and Innovation Development Programme for 2010-2014.
The backup complex is purposed to control KazSat space vehicles and provide their functioning under unfavorable weather conditions and emergencies at Akkol round control complex.
