Muslims to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr Aug 30-Sep 1

TANA. August 27. KAZINFORM On August 30 through September 1, Kazakhstan's Muslims, along with their fellow believers across the globe, will celebrate Oraza Ait (Eid ul-Fitr), the holiday marking the end of fasting in the Holy month of Ramadan.

Eid ul-Fitr is celebrated for two days. Common greetings during this holiday are the Arabic greeting 'Eid Mubārak ("Blessed Eid") or 'Eid Sa'eed ("Happy Eid"). Muslims are also encouraged on this day to forgive and forget any differences or past animosities that may have occurred with others during the year.
