Mountain collapse kills 6 in SW China's Chongqing

CHONGQING. April 14. KAZINFORM Six people were killed and another two wounded in a mountain collapse Saturday morning in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, local authorities said.
According to Xinhua, a section of a mountain near the Egongyan Bridge collapsed at 1 a.m. Saturday, crushing nearby work sheds and killing six people inside, said an official with the city government.
The victims were employees of a construction company and a lighting company.
The injured only suffered minor wounds, said the official.
Authorities are probing the cause of the tragedy.
