Moscow to hold sessions of EurAsEC Integration Committee and Customs Union Commission

ASTANA. February 22. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The 48th session of the EurAsEC Integration Committee and the 14th session of the Customs Union Commission will take place in Moscow February 26. Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Askar Abdrakhmanov has said it at a weekly briefing today.

According to him, the Kazakh side will be represented there by First Vice Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev who is also a member of the EurAsEC Integration Committee and the Customs Union Commission.

"Establishment of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space within the EurAsEC, the plans on cooperation of the states in migration, 2011 budgetary policy and development of international leasing of agricultural equipment and transport vehicles on the territory of the EurAsEC will be on agenda of the sitting of the Integration Committee", A. Abdrakhmanov said.

He also said that the Customs Union Commission would focus on such issues as realization of the Agreement on principles of indirect taxes collection while exporting and importing goods, development of integrated information system of foreign and mutual trade of the Customs Union, as well as joint work on protection of intellectual property rights. Besides, the Commission will consider the course of work on development of legal base of the Single Economic Space of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia for 2010-2011.
