Moscow hosts top-level session of EurAsEC Interstate Council

ASTANA. December 9. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community - the Supreme Body of the Customs Union - is holding its top-level session at the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow currently.

Presidents of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus will discuss the activity of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space. Three agreements forming the regulatory-legal framework of the Single Economic Space are expected to be signed. These are namely the Agreement on coherent macroeconomic policy, the Agreement on coherent principles of currency policy and the Agreement on creation of conditions for free movement of capital at the financial markets.

The parties are also expected to make amendments to the list of sensitive products.

Upon completion of the meeting between N. Nazarbayev, D. Medvedev and A. Lukashenko, leaders of other EurAsEC countries - Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan - as well observer states will join them.
