Moscow hosts exhibition of Kazakhstan's national currency (PHOTO)

MOSCOW. KAZINFORM - All-Russian Exhibition Center (VDNKh) in Moscow has opened an exhibition dedicated to the national currency and stamps of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition is featuring 54 banknotes of the national currency, commemorative coins made of 111 silver, 51 silver coins in sets: "The Red Book of Kazakhstan", "Space", "Ceremonies, national games of Kazakhstan", "Sport", "Tales of the People of Kazakhstan", " Oriental Calendar", as well as artistically designed commemorative copies of the national currency banknotes, "Samruk" series. The exhibition is also presenting 96 sheets of stamps of various topics including the OSCE summit in Astana, anniversary dates of the establishment of the CSTO and the SCO. This unique exhibition has been organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation in cooperation with the National Bank of Kazakhstan, JSC "Kazpost", Moscow Department for Culture, as well as museum and exhibition association called "Manezh". It should be noted that this kind of exhibition was held in Russia for the first time ever. Opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, government agencies, financial institutions, as well as the organization of philatelists and numismatists of Russia.
