More women appointed to high-ranking positions, says Kazakh President
An increasing number of women are appointed to high-ranking positions, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said during a meeting at the Akorda presidential palace in celebration of the International Women’s Day, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Today, women work productively in different spheres. More than half of civil servants, over 70% of education and health workers are women. A lot of our female compatriots serve the country honorably in the field of emergency response, military and law enforcement agencies, said President Tokayev.
According to the Kazakh leader, an increasing number of women are appointed to high-ranking positions.
There are many successful female leaders, as women make the grade in business. Through creative energy and determination, you’re brining the most daring ideas to life. You have a strong civic position and care about public activities, implement key initiatives and important social projects facing our nation, stated Tokayev.
Earlier, the Kazakh President hailed the role of Kazakhstani women in the history of the country.
