More than 265 thousand first graders to go to Kazakhstan schools this year

ASTANA. August 26. KAZINFORM More than 265 thousand children will go to the first grade in Kazakhstan this year, Vice Minister of Education and Science Murat Orunkhanov said at a briefing of the Central Communications Service on Monday, Kazinform has learnt from primeminister.kz.
7,398 schools will open their doors for 2.5 million schoolchildren.
This year, secondary education will have some novelties. Foreign language classes will begin from the first grade. Computer classes will start from the fifth grade. New disciplines are Abay Tanu and Alash Tanu.
