Moderate earthquake hits off Japan

HONG KONG. August 10. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit off Bonin Islands, Japan, at 0141 GMT on Tuesday, according to a bulletin released by the U.S. Geological Survey, Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The epicenter, with the depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be 28.571 degrees north latitude and 142.229 degrees east longitude, Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
