Minsk holds int'l scientific conference dedicated to N.Nazarbayev's Message to Nation
ASTANA. March 18. KAZINFORM An international scientific conference dedicated to Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev's Message to the Nation "New Decade - New Economic Growth - New Opportunities of Kazakhstan" has been held in Minsk. It was organized by the Kazakh Embassy in Belarus; its press service informs.
Ambassadors of the CIS member states, permanent plenipotentiary representatives of the CIS member states under charter and other bodies of the Commonwealth, deputies of the Belarusian Parliament, representatives of the Kazakh and Belarusian state bodies, analytic structures and academic circles took part in the event.
Opening the conference, Kazakh Ambassador to Belaruc Anatoly Smirnov noted that one of the main provisions of the Message is dedicated to implementation of the Strategic Plan of Development of Kazakhstan till 2020 which is being a response to challenges of the time.
The Kazakh diplomat emphasized that economy growth will be based on physical infrastructure modernization, human resources development and strengthening institutional basis, which promote the forced industrial-innovative development of the country.
"The issues of social protection, internal stability and well-balanced foreign policy are the priorities of the country development for the nearest decade", A.Smirnov said.
The conference participants were interested in speeches of Kazakh Vice Minister of Transport and Communications Azat Bekturov, Director General of Kamkor Management LLP Yury Lavrinenko, President of Scientific research Institute of Transport and Communications Murat Bekmagambetov who informed of main provisions of the President's Message and measures on its realization taken in our country.
Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Parliament of Belarus on national security, head of the working group on cooperation with the Parliament of Kazakhstan Victor Guminsky, in his turn, noted that Belarus and Kazakhstan chose key vector of cooperation development - creation of joint productions of competitive products.
The Belarusian deputy informed of interest of the Belarusian industry in participation of Kazakhstan's Industrialization Map.
At the end of the conference there was held an exchange of opinions on main provisions of the Message and prospects of cooperation development between Kazakhstan and Belarus.
