Ministry of Transport and Communications discussed conduction of activities within OSCE
ASTANA. April 27. KAZINFORM Kazakh Vice Minister of Transport and Communications Azat Bekturov has held a session of the working group on preparation and conduction of the 18 OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum today, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Ministry.
The process of implementation of the action plan of the Ministry on realization of tasks connected with the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship and activity plan of preparation and holding of the informal session of the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers and the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the OSCE member states in Kazakhstan were discussed at the session. Preparation to promotion of the environmental issues during the second part of the 18 OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum that will be held in Prague on May 24-26 was one of the main topics of discussion.
In particular, issues of current condition and defining of measures on improvement of the procedures of border crossing, increase of security of ground transportations, activities on elimination of non-physical barriers in international transportations were discussed.
Special attention was paid to the issues of simplification and harmonization of customs procedures, provision of security and development of international transportations, meeting both inner and foreign interests of Kazakhstan.
