Ministry of Labor and Ministry of Economy discuss indexation of public sector workers' salary - K. Massimov

ASTANA. June 2. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade are discussing the issue regarding indexation of salaries of public sector workers. Prime Minister K. Massimov informed of it at the meeting with the delegates of the XXII Congress of RK Trade Unions Federation to be opened June 3, in Astana.
"I gave proper instructions to Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Economic Development to consider this issue thoroughly", K. Massimov said.
Answering the delegates' questions he noted necessity of raising salaries of public sector workers, and creation of mechanisms for stimulating their good work.
