Ministry of Industry and New Technologies enhances activity of its Special Committee on Investors - Issekeshev

As Vice PM-Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev said at a press conference on Islamic financing in Astana today, the Ministry would hold individual negotiations with every potential investor. "Today the Ministry activates work of the Special Committee on Investors which will become our partner, assistant and consultant", Issekeshev said.

The Minister informed the representatives of Islamic banking of the special conditions provided for investors in implementation of priority projects in our country. "In particular, Kazakhstan is ready to provide investment preferences, state support, deposits and organize special taxation order in order to attract direct investments", he said.

"Kazakhstan is known for financial-economic stability. We have developed certain economic program for five years. We provide our investors with information regarding new projects; our market extends due to establishment of the Customs Union. Besides, the Government has a package of measures for supporting investors", the Minister emphasized and expressed hope that the foreign financial institutions would propose their business initiatives.
