Ministry of Emergencies to hold tactical exercises within preparation for OSCE Summit and Asian Games 2011

ASTANA. September 14. KAZINFORM The Ministry of Emergencies of Kazakhstan will hold special tactical exercises within preparation for the OSCE Summit and Asian Games 2011, the press service of the Ministry informs.

The exercises will be supervised by Minister of Emergencies of Kazakhstan Vladimir Bozhko within the 15th international seminar of rescue units 'Kazspas-2010' in Astana, Almaty and Almaty region and at the facilities used for holding the OSCE Summit and the 7th Asian Games.

'The main goal of the drills is exploring the regions and locations of high level security for the Summit and Asian Games. Besides, a practical positioning of rescue services and training on rescue works and on providing all-round assistance will be held', the statement reads.

The OSCE Summit is to take place in Astana on December 1-2, Asian Games are scheduled on the beginning of 2011.
