Ministry of Culture reviewed over 8 thousand religious sites and 100 video materials – Shoykin
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - This year Ministry of Culture have analyzed more than 100 thousand religious sites, Chairman of Committee of Religious Affairs Galym Shoykin has said today at the CCS media briefing.
"This year more than 100 thousand religious sites have been analyzed. 24 destructive sites were revealed. Then the materials were sent to the relevant bodies to block them on the territory of Kazakhstan," he highlighted.
Committee has also analyzed about 100 video materials.
According to the head of the Committee, the main feature of this year is the establishment of centers in the form of communal state agencies to study religious problems, the website of the Prime Minister reports.
"At the moment they seriously help us in our work, as the best experts in the religious sphere work at the Centers. They organize information work, the whole work is done in accordance with the NGO," he concluded.
