ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Ministry of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan holds talks with foreign film companies on production of joint films, Head of the Ministry Arystanbek Mukhamediuly informed at the CCS media briefing.
"The work on attraction of investments for production of movies is being held now. It is planned to use the potential of both "Kazakhfilm" JSC and private companies on the principle of 50/50 financing, including foreign companies," he told.
Thus, the joint work with "Movia" company has already started.
"Besides, the talks with one of the biggest Chinese companies "Sky Orange" are underway. This means the release of Kazakhstani films in Asian countries and implementation of an investment project providing for establishment of a network of movies towns in Kazakhstan," the Minister added.
