Ministers are responsible for corruption within their ministries - President
ASTANA. April 12. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan and introduced newly appointed Minister of Internal Affairs Kalmuhanbet Kassymov to the personnel of the Ministry, the Presidential press service informs.
Introducing a new Minister of Internal Affairs the President thanked the personnel for good work and defined a range of prior tasks for the Ministry.
First of all, the Minister and his deputies are responsible for combating corruption within the Ministry. It is the task for all appointed Ministers.
Secondly, it is needed to stop to oppress businessmen. We need to give them more rights and more freedom.
The third point, we need to educate and train our own specialists. We need to know our rights, laws and responsibilities. We have to know needs of ordinary people. Though, we will continue to improve our legislation system.
Therefore, I appoint a man who knows it all. He has been working at all levels, he knows the whole system in details.
The President also expressed confidence that the Ministry would fulfill all the set tasks.
