Minister of Internal Affairs K. Kassymov became Lieutenant-General

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Kalmukhanbet Kassymov was awarded a rank of Lieutenant-General of police. The decree was signed by Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev on the threshold of the Defender of the Fatherland Day, the press service of the Akorda informs.
Previously, K. Kassymov had a rank of the Major General of police.
K. Kassymov has been heading the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan since April of 2011.
