Minister of Agriculture visits N Kazakhstan region
ROPAVLOVSK. September 5. KAZINFORM /Sergey Kuznetsov/ Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Akhylbek Kurishbayev has arrived with a working visit to the North Kazakhstan oblast. Akim of the region Serik Bilyalov accompanies the Minister in his trip.
The Minister started his visit from familiarization with the course of harvesting in Kyzylzhar municipality. A. Kurishbayev met with Director of Golovkin and K LLP who said the company planned to finish harvesting campaign in three weeks.
Due to the state support especially donations for purchase of herbicides and fertilizers, the company expects good grain harvest this year, the Director noted. The Minister was also interested in usage of water-saving technologies and renewal of agricultural equipment.
As Aman Kabdyshev, head of the Agriculture Department of Kyzylzhar municipality informed, 164 700 hectares of the land in the municipality were planted with grain crops - wheat, barley, and oat. The municipality leads in paces of harvesting work. The average yield is 15.5 centners per hectare.
The Minister also visited agricultural farms of M. Zhumabayev municipality. Agrarians of the municipality also expect to gather good grain harvest.
After then A. Kurishbayev left for Tayinsha municipality.
