“Millennium around Astana” festival opens in Astana

The main purpose of the festival is to show the life of nomads and promote respect to the origins of Kazakh culture. For this purpose the central park became a copy of the ancient settlement Bozok, located at the territory of modern Astana for three days.     

Days of the festival are rich with interesting events. Eves of kyuyshi, traditional songs and folk dances will be held within the celebration. Show of costumes, aitys of akyns and faerie performance of stunt-horsemen are planned as well.
