Midnight fire kills a man and a woman in E Kazakhstan

ASTANA. January 2. KAZINFORM An apartment in a 2-storey residential complex caught fire at midnight in Ridder town in eastern Kazakhstan, Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies.
The fire was put out in an hour and a half by the East Kazakhstan Emergencies Department.
It covered an area of 15 sq.m. Five people were evacuated. Bodies of a woman and a man thought to be in their 40s were found at the scene.
