Mercedes collides with a camel in Karaganda region, 1 man dies

KARAGANDA. July 24. KAZINFORM One man was killed and another was injured as a result of the collision of a Mercedes car with a camel in Karaganda region, local police say.
The road accident happened on Almaty-Balkhash motorway 30 km away from Saryshagan village. A 32-year-old Mercedes driver, a resident of Taraz city, failed to control his vehicle and hit the camel on the motorway. As a result, a 22-year-old Mercedes passenger died at the scene.
The Mercedes driver was admitted to a hospital with various injuries. It is still unclear what the camel was doing on the highway.
