Meet Kazakh boxers and rhythmic gymnast leaving for 2024 Paris Games

Men's Boxing:

Saken Bibossinov, born July 3, 1997 in Turkistan region. He is a bronze medalist of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and winner of the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia.

Makhmud Sabyrkhan, born September 9, 2001 in Shymkent. He is a winner  of the 2023 IBA Men’s World Boxing Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Team Kazakhstan has earned 80 Olympic Games quotas in 25 sports, including boxing, judo, artistic gymnastics, track-and-field, kayaking and canoeing, rifle shooting, Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, archery, trap-shooting, tennis, road cycling, swimming, modern pentathlon, taekwondo, cycling track, trampoline gymnastics, badminton, rowing, rhythmic gymnastics, triathlon, table tennis, climbing and breaking.

The XXXIII Summer Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11. The event will bring together 10,500 athletes from 205 countries, who will compete for 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
