Medvedev urges regions to take proper employment measures

GORKI. August 3. KAZINFORM. President Dmitry Medvedev demanded that the authorities in the Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Samara, and Kaliningrad regions ensure employment using funds provided by the federal government; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
At a meeting with Medvedev on Monday, Minister of Health and Social Development Tatyana Golikova said a considerable number of regions are implementing employment programmes "quite well and effectively", using federal budget money.
"Then let us say that our conversation is a direct instruction to the governors of the Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Samara, and Kaliningrad regions to organise this process properly," Medvedev said; Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. See www.itar-tass.com for full version.
