KARAGANDA. May 4. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ The Men's Day in Kazakhstan is on May 7 not on February 23. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev noted during his working trip to Karaganda region on the eve of the Defenders of the Fatherland Day.
'Kazakhstan celebrates the Defenders of the Fatherland Day on May 7. I remind all women of this to know when to congratulate us on our holiday. We congratulate women on March 8 and they should congratulate us on May 7,' the President said.
'Therefore I visited military unit of the region on the eve of this day and congratulated soldiers on the upcoming holiday,' the President added.
