TANA. September 20. KAZINFORM The measures taken by the Government allowed to stabilize the financial sector and liquidate a threat of economic recession. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has said it at the session of the parliamentary faction of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party.
The Premier emphasized that "Kazakhstan was one of the first countries which experienced the negative impact of the crisis tendencies and one of the few ones which took adequate and productive anti-crisis steps."
In 2007-2008 the national budget allocated more than KZT 400 bln for completion of construction of housing facilities, small and medium business projects, ensuring food safety.
The National Fund allocated more than KZT 1.5 trln for the anti-crisis program. The measures taken by the Government allowed to stabilize the financial sector and liquidate a threat of economic recession
