"In the 21st century the importance of the media sphere increases dramatically. Media sphere becomes not just a compiler of events in the world, but largely takes an effect of one of the leading substances determining their course in individual countries and worldwide. No doubt mass online-journalism is the new stage of media implementation providing almost limitless opportunities for mass media development. Foremost, according to the experts, in the near future 70 per cent of the developed countries’ national product would be made by communications and media. Despite the setbacks and stagnation phenomena in other economic sectors the media market will grow evenly, consistently, mainly due to an increase in consumer demand ", said the Kazakh President.

In addition, according to the President, within the next five years the global growth of consumer expenses is expected on access to the Internet and therefore the fee for creation and use of its content equals on average 9 percent. In fact, the media are entering an era of content, customized directly by the user information. This creates a new situation for electronic and print media.
