ASTANA-BRISBANE. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani Yaroslava Shvedova has crashed out of the 2015 Brisbane International today, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
World №2 Maria Sharapova ruthlessly beat Shvedova in straight sets in the second-round match. The Russian needed only 23 min to end the first set 6:0 and then seal the match after 1h 03 min 6:1. Earlier it was reported that Shvedova routed German Sabine Lisicki in the Brisbane opener. Sharapova is set to face either Mirjana Lucic-Baroni or Carla Suarez-Navarro in the quarterfinal.
