Man tried to smuggle 37 kg of marijuana to Pavlodar

PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM - Police officers have detained a man with 37 kilograms of marijuana on "Rubezh-Kereku" police post in the village of Shiderty, Pavlodar region.
13 plastic bags with marijuana were found in the trunk of "VAZ" car which came to the area from the South Kazakhstan region. "The driver, a 36-year-old unemployed resident of Saryagash town, and two passengers, one of whom was the owner of the car, were detained. They are suspected of possessing and transporting of drugs in a large scale", said the head of the Anti-Narcotics Department of the region Samat Raimbekov. Criminal case has been initiated. The suspects wrere put in a detention center.
