Man sentenced to 10 years in hit and run that killed three

PAVLODAR. KAZINFORM - Pavlodar city court number 2 has sentenced a 25-year-old resident of the city Zhambyl Muhantayev to 10 years in a penal colony for committing a traffic accident that killed three people.
It bears to remind that the road accident occurred in Pavlodar on September 24, 2014. The man was driving down the road at a speed of 100 km per hour. The vehicle driven by Muhantayev hit two women and a man. The two victims have died at the scene, the third pedestrian passed away in a hospital. The accused is also assessed to pay the moral damage to the families of the victims in the amount of 35 million tenge.
