Man kills wife, throws body into the river in Shymkent
ASTANA. August 21. KAZINFORM - In South Kazakhstan region has been detained a man who drubbed his young wife to death, says the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"The staff of the criminal police of South Kazakhstan region detained a 31-year-old resident of Shymkent, who in April of this year, beat to death his wife and brought the corpse to the Arys River. Semi-decomposed body of a woman was found on the banks of the river by herders. It was nor possible to identify the woman, but it was later revealed that the killed one was a 27-year-old resident of Shymkent, " the statement reads.
"The detainee admitted that in his house during the quarrel he had beaten his wife, who then passed away. In order to cover up the crime the suspect wrapped the corpse in the carpet, took it out in a car and threw it into the Arys River", the press-service of the ministry informs.
