Man in Atyrau allegedly tried to abduct a boy for ransom

ATYRAU. September 12. KAZINFORM A 25-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly trying to lure an 8-year-old boy into his car in Atyrau.
The man was arrested for attempted kidnapping and is being held at the temporary detention facility, according to the regional internal affairs department. A criminal investigation has been launched.
The police have confirmed that the suspect tried to abduct the child for ransom of KZT 1 million.
