Man gets life sentence for brutal murder of little girl in Rudny

KOSTANAY. KAZINFORM - Notorious murderer of the 7-year-old Victoria Ganya and three more people - Denis Lesnikov must stay behind bars for the rest of his life after a ruling by the specialized Kostanay regional court.
The court delivered the verdict in Lesnikov's case that shocked the entire country on Friday, March 6.
The merciless Lesnikov was convicted of kidnapping and killing of the little girl and sentenced to life in prison. Recall that Victoria Ganya, 7, was abducted on April 24, 2014 in Rudny. According to witnesses, an unknown European man approached her and lured out of the yard where she was playing with her friends. After a 30-day region-wide search, her lifeless body was found near the Rudny-Tobol motorway.
