Man drowns nephew in bathtub in Karaganda

ASTANA. August 1. KAZINFORM A tragedy happened at 11:00 p.m. on July 30 in Karaganda. Body of a 9-year-old boy was found by his family in the apartment in the morning of July 31, Karaganda police says.
The boy's body and face were covered with bruises. The boy died of mechanical asphyxia of airway in the water, according to medical examination.
The police detained a 29-year-old owner of the apartment, uncle of the victim.
The man confessed he beat the boy with a stick and a belt, after that bathed him in the bath and put him into the bed.
