Man attacks, robs his own grandfather in Shymkent

The man attacked his 88-year-old grandfather with a wooden stick at their home in Shymkent. The old man sustained serious head injuries. And while he was suffering from terrible pain, his grandson robbed him of 100,000 tenge and fled the scene. The police detained the offender later. Asked why he attacked his grandfather, he said the old man asked him to turn off the TV set. Local court sanctioned the attacker's arrest.
