Major ventures of country should assist small and medium business development - Nazarbayev
AGANDA OBLAST. August 27. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ Today President Nursultan Nazarbayev addressed the heads of Kazakhmys LLP with a request to provide more assistance to the development of small and medium businesses.
"Major ventures of the country should take an active part in the country's industrialization", the Head of the State said at a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Kazakhmys LLP Vladimir Ogay. To date this company is one of the main suppliers of raw materials for the enterprises manufacturing wiring, telecommunication and electro-technical products.
N. Nazarbayev gave an example of the South Korea where small and medium business developed around Samsung Company. "If we provide oil to the medium business sector we could establish hundreds of oil processing ventures which would satisfy regional demands. This is the first stage of industrialization", the President noted.
