Major sugar factory to be built in Almaty region

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A modern sugar factory with capacity of 100 thousand tons per season will be built in Almaty region, this has been announced by the regional Akim Amandyk Batalov at today's press briefing in the Central Communications Service.
According to his words, it is planned to increase sugar beet cultivated area in Aksu district to 14 thousand hectares.
To process that volume of sugar beet we plan to build a modern sugar factory with capacity of 100 thousand tons per season.
