Majilis to consider Bill on ratification of Agreement on prevention of double taxation between Kazakhstan and Finland

ANA. February 2. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The draft Law on ratification of the Agreement on prevention of double taxation between Kazakhstan and Finland will be considered in Majilis at the end of February; Chairman of Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament has informed of it during the meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Finland to Kazakhstan Mikko Kinnunen.

"Kazakhstan considers Finland as an important partner in Europe - as an important trade-economic and political partner", - U. Mukhamedzhanov said.

He noted that the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Finland in pre-crisis period has reached USD 1 bln. Some decrease in trade activity between both countries is connected with the crisis. According to the speaker there is a certain potential for the development of partner relations between the two countries including the interparliamentary cooperation.

He also stressed that Kazakhstan and Finland have similar positions on many international problems.

In his turn, the Ambassador asked U. Mukhamedzhanov to advance the procedure on the Bill on ratification of the Agreement on prevention of double taxation signed by the Heads of Kazakhstan and Finland.

The speaker promised to promote the issue as soon as possible.
