Majilis Speaker, Turkish Prime Minister discussed bilateral relations
ASTANA. May 24. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament Nurlan Nigmatulin met with Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who came to Kazakhstan for an official visit.
The parties noted the strategic nature of relations between the two countries, stressing the important role of the leaders of Kazakhstan and Turkey. The sides expressed confidence that the activities of the two countries' leaders are aimed at continuous expansion and deepening of political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian ties.
Speaker of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin emphasized the absolute authority of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in the Turkic world, as well as a huge contribution of our Head of State to the development of relations with the brotherly Turkish people.
In turn, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey has always supported the initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan and values its activities aimed at consolidating the Turkic speaking states.
Nurlan Nigmatulin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan exchanged views on a whole range of bilateral relations, with emphasis on inter-parliamentary relations. The two sides expressed confidence that the third plenary session of TurkPA, which will be held in June in Bishkek, will enable parliamentarians to exchange views on a wide range of issues.
