Majilis Speaker and Ambassador of Japan discuss bilateral relations

K.Dzhakupov and M.Kamohara paid great attention to the subject of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation. Majilis speaker stressed the relevance of all international initiatives on nuclear safety which have been made by Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev. According to Kabibulla Dzhakupov's words, Protocol to the Treaty on the zone free of nuclear weapons in Central Asia, signed May 6 of the current year at the headquarters of the UN, has become an important step in the strengthening of regional and international security. In turn, Masayoshi Kamohara stressed that Kazakhstan is a leading country in the region. Japanese diplomat also expressed great interest of Japan to strengthen cooperation with our country in various fields. Speaking about the establishing trade and economic collaboration, the speaker noted that Kazakhstan was interested in attracting investments of Japanese leading multinational campaigns and creating in Kazakhstan assembly plants. "Given the innovative nature of Japanese companies, we invite them to participate in the realization of industrial programs in Kazakhstan. Japanese companies are also invited to partake in Expo-2017", concluded Kabibulla Dzhakupov.
