Majilis ratified Kazakh-Russian Agreement on construction of third unit of Ekibastuz GRES-2 power station

ASTANA. December 8. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament approved draft Law "On ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Russia on construction and subsequent operation of the third unit of Ekibastuz GRES-2 power station".
Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Duisenbai Turganov said presenting the draft Law that the Agreement was conditioned by a necessity of development of "Ekibastuz GRES-2 power station" JSC through construction of the third unite of the station.
The project is realized by a joint stock company including "Samruk Kazyna" JSC and "INTER RAO UES" JSC.
