Majilis ratified Agreement between Kazakhstan and UAE on providing legal assistance
ASTANA. June 23. KAINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ - The Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan has approved the draft Law 'On ratification of the Agreement between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates on providing legal assistance in civil and commercial matters' at the plenary sitting today.
'The Agreement provides rendering mutual legal assistance to individuals and legal entities of both countries in civil cases by providing corresponding documents and recognition of juridical decisions. The state bodies responsible for the assistance will have to cover the expenses', Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Justice Marat Beketaev said presenting the bill.
The Agreement was signed during the working visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the United Arab Emirates on May 16, 2009.
